Job Title : Jr. Instrument Technician

Job Location : ADNOC Industrial Gases, Mirfa

  • Prepare tools, material and spare parts as per maintenance schedules and daily work orders to carry out the assigned maintenance activities.
  • Should have proper practical knowledge of calibration and troubleshooting of field instrumentation.
  • Shall perform all CMs and PMs on Instrumentation jobs, in accordance with SAP.
  • Carry out maintenance activities as defined within the maintenance management system in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and industry best practices.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair activities undertaken by contract personnel & sub-contractors to ensure work is completed in accordance with schedule and in line with AIG safety and quality requirements.
  • Monitor the performance of instrumentation equipment to ensure that expected reliability objectives are met and deficiencies are reported to the Instrument Engineer
  • Assist the Instrument Engineer in the effective maintenance & troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment including DCS & analytical instrumentation.
  • Provide technical support to ASU operations teams as required.
  • In conjunction with the Instrument Team Leader, maintain, update, backup, troubleshoot and modify DCS control system as instructed.
  • Support the instrument maintenance & troubleshooting activities on Ruwais/Mirfa site as required.
  • Shall report all unsafe acts and conditions to the relevant parties.
  • Shall report all injuries, incidents and accidents to the relevant parties.
  • Shall be familiar with HSE requirements pertaining to operational oil & gas facility, risk identification, mitigation controls and permit-to-work system.
  • Shall to work emergency, unplanned and scheduled outages.
  • Shall require to work on heights and on scaffolding.
  • To attend Toolbox meetings to establish scope of work activities
  • To identify spare parts required for instrumentation maintenance work
  • To observe operation abnormalities and report any defects to relevant supervisor.
  • The prospective Candidate must have a good command of the English language, and displayed excellent team spirit.

Education & Experience

  • Min. 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industries.
