Local manufacturing
Equipment that was previously imported is now fabricated at our ICAD facility in Abu Dhabi and recognised under ADNOC Local+.
Since 1976, In-Country Value has been the way Euro Mechanical operates. We manufacture locally, develop Emirati talent, and source from UAE-based suppliers.
The In-Country Value programme, introduced by ADNOC and now adopted across UAE federal and Abu Dhabi government entities, measures the economic value a company returns to the Nation through local manufacturing, the employment and development of Emiratis, and spending with UAE-based suppliers. For our clients, a contractor’s contribution to In-Country Value is part of how value is assessed and awarded.
As a 100% Emirati-owned company founded in Abu Dhabi in 1976, In-Country Value reflects how Euro Mechanical has operated from the start. Our growth and the Nation’s industrial progress have advanced together for five decades, and we continue to invest in local capability across every part of the business.

We recruit, train, and develop UAE Nationals across engineering, technical, and project roles, supported through the Nafis programme.
We direct procurement to UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors wherever capability allows, strengthening the domestic supply base.
Through our Technology Partners division, we bring international technologies into the UAE and support them with in-country engineering and service.
Our contribution supports Make it in the Emirates, the national procurement localisation framework, and the wider ambition to build a self-reliant industrial base in Abu Dhabi and across the Emirates. By manufacturing locally, developing Emirati talent, and sourcing from UAE-based suppliers, we help our clients meet their own In-Country Value commitments while strengthening the industrial capacity the Nation will rely on.
