Foundation
Euro Mechanical and Electrical Contracting Company LLC is founded in Abu Dhabi. The first assignment: installing gas turbines for power stations. The company that would grow into one of the UAE's most trusted industrial partners begins here.

Capability
Agency agreements established with leading international technology suppliers. Euro Mechanical begins connecting the UAE market to global industrial expertise, a capability that defines the Technology Partners division today.

Ownership
Euro Mechanical becomes 100% owned by the Alhurr Alsuwaidi family, marking the beginning of a generational commitment to Abu Dhabi's industrial development that has never wavered.
1984
Capability
Bolting and machining services launched. What begins as an additional service line grows into the UAE's largest bolting fleet, a core capability of the Services division.
1993
Accreditation
ISO 9001 certification achieved. Euro Mechanical becomes one of the region's early adopters of internationally recognised quality management standards, setting a benchmark that governs every project and service delivered to this day.
2006
Accreditation
ASME Certificate of Authorisation and National Board 'R' Certificate of Authorisation obtained. Euro Mechanical gains the authority to design, fabricate, and repair pressure-retaining equipment to international standards, unlocking a higher tier of work in oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power.
2008
Recognition
HSE Contractor of the Year awarded by Gasco for Buhasa and Ruwais Plant operations. A major client recognises that Euro Mechanical's safety culture is not a compliance programme. It is how the company works.
2009
Growth
Dubai branch established. Euro Mechanical extends beyond Abu Dhabi for the first time, broadening its reach across the UAE's energy and industrial markets.
2011
Partnership
Total ABK awards a multi-discipline manpower contract for offshore operations. Euro Mechanical demonstrates that its workforce capability extends beyond onshore assets, establishing a track record that supports every offshore bid that follows.
2012
Recognition
HSE Contractor of the Year awarded by Gasco for Buhasa Plant. Back-to-back recognition confirms that Euro Mechanical's safety performance is consistent, not occasional.
2013
Growth
Euro Mechanical reaches 1,000 employees. A milestone that reflects not headcount alone, but years of deliberate investment in training, retention, and developing a workforce that clients can rely on.
2014

Brand
Euro Mechanical rebrands. A new identity signals a structural transformation: from a construction and manpower business to a multi-division energy services provider with distinct, technology-enabled capabilities across EPC, Manufacturing, Services, and Partners.
2020
Acquisition
SAMCO is acquired. Euro Mechanical significantly deepens its upstream oil and gas capability, expanding the Services division and strengthening its position as a long-term partner to ADNOC's offshore and onshore operations.
2022
Acquisition
Pressurised Habitats acquired. An ATEX-rated safety technology enters the portfolio, enabling hot work in live hazardous environments. A differentiating capability that no other provider in the region can offer at this scale.

Events
First ADIPEC exhibition. Euro Mechanical takes its integrated four-division proposition to the region's most important energy industry platform, signalling a new level of market presence and commercial ambition.

Acquisition
Wellube is acquired. The Mechanical Integrity Solutions capability within the Services division is significantly strengthened, reinforcing Euro Mechanical's position as the UAE's leading provider of bolting, machining, and valve services.
2026
50th Anniversary
Euro Mechanical marks its 50th anniversary. Founded in Abu Dhabi in July 1976, the company reaches this milestone with over 2,100 people, four technology-enabled divisions, and a half-century of trusted delivery across the UAE's most critical assets. The next 50 years begin here.
