Euro Mechanical is an Emirati company that has supported the growth of Abu Dhabi’s energy sector for more than 40 years. We are proud to provide proficient solutions and expertise throughout the region. Over the years Euro Mechanical has shaped a business philosophy where partnerships, service quality, consistency and above all customer satisfaction are paramount.
Based in Abu Dhabi, Euro Mechanical enjoys a position at the cross roads between two great trading blocks of Europe and Asia, and one of the world’s fastest developing regions (MENA). This gives Euro Mechanical and our partners a strategic position where we can deliver solutions to the Aviation, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil, Gas, Renewables, Water, Power, Manufacturing sectors across the region.
Euro Mechanical are immensely proud of our capital city and the amazing journey that the city and our country is on. Euro Mechanical will continue to contribute to involving itself in that exceptional adventure and understands its social responsibility to the community and contributes to a number of appropriate charitable organizations.
Euro Mechanical and Electrical Contracting Company LLC was founded by the late Mr. John Manna on behalf of the heirs of the late Mr. Mohammed Al Hurr in July 1976. Euro Mechanical won its first assignments which was to build and install Gas Turbines for power stations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Further to this, to support Abu Dhabi’s Onshore and Offshore Oilfields, Euro Mechanical launched its first Division - Construction Division. To back this division, the Manpower Division was established.
This year saw the introduction of Agencies Division, which was launched by making service and sales agreement with key international product suppliers.
The two British partners sold their shares to the UAE national partners, and Euro Mechanical became 100% owned by the Al Hurr family.
The Bolting division was formed to deliver expert services for bolt tensioning and torqueing.
Euro Mechanical obtained its first ISO 9001 certification.
Euro Mechanical attained three key certifications, namely - ASME Certificate of Authorization, National Board ‘R’ Certificate of Authorization and License for Private Employment Agency (Manpower Supply License).
To acknowledge the efficiency in project delivery, Euro Mechanical was bestowed upon by “HSE Contractor of the Year” award from Gasco, Buhasa Plant Division and Ruwais Plant Division.
This year again, Euro Mechanical received “HSE Contractor of the Year” award from Gasco, Buhasa Plant Division.
To provide prompt support to clients in the Northern Emirates, Euro Mechanical launched its branch in Dubai.
The Manpower Division won the “Provision of Construction Services Contract” from Total ABK, to provide multi-discipline manpower for Offshore.
Adding further to be a socially responsible organization, Euro Mechanical started charitable donations both locally and internationally. This year also saw the Manpower Division winning the “Rigging Trade, R&R and MODS Term Contract” with Adgas in Das Island.
Euro Mechanical celebrated the milestone of reaching 1000 employees.
After 20 years of continuous service, Euro Mechanical successfully renewed the “Rigging & Cranage Services Contract” with ADNOC LNG in Das Island.
After 42 years, Euro Mechanical engaged with an award winning agency to re-brand the company. Developing a brand mark and guiding principles that truly reflect the company now and for years to come.
Euro Mechanical acquires SAMCO to serve the upstream oil and gas market. Adding SAMCO to the Euro Mechanical family will allow us to achieve the goal of serving the upstream demands of the oil and gas market.
Euro Mechanical exhibited at ADIPEC 2022, hosting 11 Partners mainly from Upstream, in a 225sqm stand, the only Accessible stand at the entire event.
